When problems arise when validating, updating or installing Vermintide 2, we recommend running through the solutions listed below.
- Restart your PC
- Ensure you have enough space left on your PC's drive
- Clear Steam's 'Download Cache'. Please be aware this will remove any downloads currently in progress:
- Open the Steam client
- Select 'Steam' in the upper left-hand corner
- Select 'Settings'
- Select 'Downloads' within the sidebar
- Select 'Clear Download Cache'
- Repair your Steam Library Folders by:
- Open the Steam client
- Select 'Steam' in the upper left-hand corner
- Select 'Settings'
- Select 'Downloads' within the sidebar
- Select 'Steam Library Folders'
- Right-click the directory path displayed
- Select 'Repair Folder'

- Change Steam's 'Download Region' to another nearby location by:
- Open the Steam client
- Select 'Steam' in the upper left-hand corner
- Select 'Settings'
- Select 'Downloads' within the sidebar
- Change your 'Download Region' and save the changes
