Recently, we've noticed players using Avast, AVG, SpyBot or 360 Total Security Anti-Virus have been crashing on launch due to a conflict with our anti-cheat provider, Easy Anti-Cheat. This will often produce an 'Exit Code' of 0xFA718003 in the vermintide2_launcher.log.
Firstly, please ensure the appropriate exceptions are in place for the Vermintide 2 directory. The path to this directory should look similar to: C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Warhammer Vermintide 2. For information on how to add an exception, please refer to the Anti-Virus provider's website.
If the Vermintide 2 directory is already an exception, or if adding Vermintide 2 as an exception did not resolve the issue, please uninstall and subsequently reinstall the Anti-Virus.
Should the issue persist, please consider using another reputable Anti-Virus provider.
