Recently, we've been looking in to an issue in which the chat will claim a player (or multiple) has left the lobby despite them still being present. Subsequently, on completion of the map, those players will then be disconnected.
In our last patch, we made a change to prevent players being disconnected mid-match when their connection to Steam breaks (e.g. during Steam maintenance), ensuring the map can be completed and the reward still acquired, prolonging the disconnect until map completion.
Due to recent events resulting in Steam being busier than usual, the servers are consequently unstable as a result of the demand. Our matchmaking service is handled by Steam, and as such resulting in the issue described above.
Please rest assured that due to our recent changes, rewards will not be lost as a result of the disconnections and will be automatically added to the inventory.
We're looking in to how we can clean this up to prevent players being kicked on completion of the map, but unfortunately may worsen in the time being as the demand on Steam increases.
